This actually happened a while back but I was thinking about it today and it made me happy.
A couple of weeks ago I went to Starbucks and there was a dad there with two sons (probably 7 & 10 years old). They were just hanging out outside drinking coffee and talking a little bit. You could tell they were extremely content and happy to just be there. The dad wasn't on his cell phone, or screaming at the kids or ignoring them. They were just enjoying each other's company. Seriously, how often do you see that these days? It's sad for me to say rarely. Glad they understand and appreciate the real meaning of family.
